On Sunday, November 19, 2023, the Lifetime Service Awards were given out to two members of our club.  They were nominated by the board for their innumerable accomplishments in supporting the club

Denis Desmond has been a long time member of FRWSD and recently completed his 50th Marathon in Austin.  Long known for his endurance and perseverance with his running, Denis now also bikes centuries

Khalid is the 2022 President of FRWSD,  currently serving his 5th term on the board [2nd as ‘22 President of FRWSD] and continually gives back that same kindness and warmth to visitors / new members
