In consideration of the health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and community, we’re hosting our annual Pride 5K Run/Walk virtually this year!
Anyone anywhere can participate. That’s right, you can participate as an individual or even form a Team with your friends from Chicago or your Aunt in Georgia! Anyone can support the great work of our charity partners.
You choose your own 5K route, your own starting time, and your own pace. Show your PRIDE by taking a few photos along the way – share with your friends, your fans, and our community.
Your entry includes a Pride 5K race bib, finisher’s certificate, finisher’s medal, and t-shirt. If you just want to support the San Diego LGBT Community? Simply donate.

Your Entry Supports Charity
Every year, funds raised at the San Diego Pride 5K generate significant donations for our charity partners – The LGBT Center’s Youth Housing Project and San Diego Pride. This year, more than ever, these charities need our support.
The proceeds from the virtual Pride 5K will benefit those on the front lines helping the most vulnerable members of the LGBT community. Last year Front Runners and Walkers of San Diego donated over $20,000 in proceeds to our charity partners. Let’s work together to match that again this year.
*As an affiliate member of Road Runner Clubs of America, Front Runners and Walkers of San Diego is a Section 501(c)3 nonprofit and your donation may qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes.

How It Works
Register for the Pride 5K.
Registration is only $40 with available swag options below:
Pick up your swag items in the Hillcrest area the weekend of the event
- Get your swag delivered to you for an extra $5
- If you don’t want any swag (t-shirt or medal) you can donate the costs to our charity partners
- Join the Facebook event and follow us on Instagram to be a part of the community. Post your training runs, join the Front Runners Community on Strava and tag us while you train #sdpride5k #runningwithpridesd #frwsd#sdpride
- If you are picking up your swag items – plan to be in the Hillcrest area on July 16th or July 17th
- Run your Race on Pride weekend July 16-18!! Choose your own route, wear your best Pride running outfit or maybe your #throwback #pride5k swag, post a picture or video on Instagram and tag us @front_runners_walkers_sandiego
- Upload your finishing results through the registration page to get your custom Finisher’s Certificate and see how you ranked relative to our other finishers. (totally optional)
- San Diego Pride will be live streaming events July 16th through the 18th!
