A club member since 1994, Randi is often at Sixth & Laurel Saturday mornings
for 2.5+ mile walk—and repeats the distance five days a week. Yoga, cardio, and stretch classes make for a super-athletic week!
She likes Saturday club breakfasts, the annual membership party, Bridge games and “lots of social, birthday and other celebrations.”
An enthusiastic “Rah-Rah cheerleader” at the Gay Games in New York and Amsterdam, back home Randi volunteers at club-staffed race water stations, does the AIDS Walk, volunteers at The Center and San Diego Pride. In 2013 and 2015 Randi was Pride Volunteer of the Year.
Randi and her partner, Phyllis Charlton, married in 2008. Between 1995 and 2000 they visited all seven continents, starting with Africa and ending with Antarctica, walked in each continent, and Zodiac rafted in Antarctic waters.
